Build on your strengths.
Make the work sustainable.

Your organization knows its community and the work that matters. I help strengthen the roles, workflows, and leadership practices that support delivery, and shape a clear case for the resources and partnerships the work needs.

Capacity Building & Storyselling

Support shaped around
your organization.

Bring me in when a growing program needs clearer ownership, staff or volunteers need support, or your case for support no longer reflects the work you do. We agree on the priority together and build an approach your team can realistically maintain.

Understand the need

Listen to leaders, staff, and the people closest to the work. Identify strengths, friction, and the decisions that need attention.

Build with your team

Develop practical tools in working sessions. Test them against actual workloads, available resources, and the experience you want people to have.

Equip your team to carry it forward

Equip internal owners with training, usable documentation, and a clear way to review progress after the engagement.

What We Can Build

A stronger organization.
A clearer case for its work.

Organizational Capacity

Priorities and operating systems

A needs assessment, prioritized action plan, decision rights, workflows, and a simple rhythm for tracking commitments.

People & Leadership

Staff and volunteer support

Clear roles, onboarding resources, team learning sessions, and feedback practices that help people contribute with confidence.

Storyselling

Funding and partnership narratives

A case for support, program narrative, or partner presentation that connects the need, your approach, available evidence, and the resources required. The story stays in your voice.

Implementation

Turn commitments into delivery

A working roadmap, named owners, milestones, and change-management support for a new initiative, shifting resources, or a season of growth.

Participation in Practice

Listen first.
Design for participation.

My work in care operations, volunteer systems, and belonging taught me to ask whose experience is missing from a decision. We identify barriers to participation, make room for different perspectives, and build around the relationships and strengths already in your organization.

You define success for your community. We agree on what to measure and use feedback to improve the work. When stories include someone’s personal experience, we agree on permission, context, and how they want to be represented.

Relevant Experience

Executive experience.
Practical, personal support.

As a former Chief Strategy Officer at Churchome, I connected strategy, operations, finance, donor development, and people. I designed and built Pastor Chat’s digital care infrastructure from scratch, equipping 90+ staff and 30+ volunteers to support 85,000+ care conversations. I also led execution of Vision Summit donor retreats that helped raise $5.1M across two retreats.

Corporate sales leadership and co-founding Love + Leisure add a practical understanding of how people make decisions, how teams deliver, and how to work within real business constraints.

Ways to Engage

Start with a defined priority.

Capacity Diagnostic

Typically 2–3 weeks. Interviews and document review, a findings conversation, and a prioritized capacity-building roadmap.

Capacity & Story Build

Typically 8–12 weeks. A focused set of systems and narrative tools, developed and implemented with your team. Scope reflects your priorities and resources.

Partner-Led Engagement

A defined workstream within a consulting team, or support commissioned by an organization or funder. Responsibilities and reporting are agreed before work begins.

Share the priority, timeline, and any funding or contracting requirements. We will agree on useful deliverables, the people involved, and an approach your organization can maintain.

What would help your team carry the work?

Tell me what you are building, what is getting in the way, and what support would make a practical difference.
